It is with immense pride and gratitude that I welcome you to the online home of the Jilha Pariviksha ani Anurakshan Sanghatana Sanchalit, Nirikshanagriha/Balagriha, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Since its inception on July 20, 1957, by the visionary Freedom Fighter, Swatantrya Senani Late Shri S.K. alias Hirubhau Jagtap, our institution has been the pioneering force in Marathwada dedicated to the care and protection of vulnerable children. We are a registered NGO working tirelessly to serve children referred to us by the Juvenile Justice Board and the Child Welfare Committee, including those in need of care and protection, child laborers, orphans, and children in conflict with the law.

Our Mission and Impact

Our core mission is straightforward: to provide a safe haven and the necessary skills for these children to integrate successfully into society and live a life of dignity and self-respect.

To achieve this, we provide comprehensive, free services, including:

Holistic Care: Accommodation, meals, clothing, and essential medical care.

Education and Training: Formal schooling, and essential vocational training in computer skills (with many of our children achieving MS-CIT certification), music, and other trades to ensure they are self-reliant.

Rehabilitation: Our dedicated efforts have enabled countless young lives to turn around. We proudly count a Judge, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Army Officers, and various entrepreneurs among our alumni, demonstrating the profound impact of our work.

Recognition: Our commitment to excellence was recognized with the prestigious "Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar" Award from the Government of Maharashtra in 1997-98.

Call for Support

While we receive vital assistance from the Women and Child Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra, we depend heavily on the community's generosity and partnership (लोकसहभाग) to conduct specialized programs and realize our development projects.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our Executive Chairman Shri Mansingh Pawar, Honorary Secretary Smt. Sushila Jagtap, our committed Managing Committee, and every individual and organization (such as Lions Club, Rotary Club, and Sterlite Technologies) whose support has been invaluable.

We anticipate your continued support and guidance as we move forward with our future plans, including the construction of modern facilities, a dedicated library, and the expansion of vocational training centers.
