The Jilha Pariviksha ani Anurakshan Sanghatana Sanchalit, Nirikshanagriha/Balagriha operates as a fully capable institution, utilizing a blend of government mandates, community partnership, and internal programs to maximize the potential of every child.

🛡️ Legal and Institutional Compliance

Statutory Mandate: We function as a registered Charitable Trust and a voluntary aided institution, strictly operating under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.

Capacity Management: We are authorized by the Commissioner, Women and Child Development, Maharashtra State, Pune, to accommodate a total of 50 children (Observation Home: 15 boys, Children's Home: 35 boys).

Referral System: We are fully capable of receiving and managing children between 6 to 18 years who are referred to us by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) and the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).

🛠️ Programmatic Capabilities

Our capability extends across providing comprehensive care and focused development:

Holistic Care: We provide essential, high-quality, free services including residence, food, clothing, medical facilities, and counseling.

Education: We ensure access to formal school education for all residents.

Vocational Training: Our long-standing commitment to self-reliance allows us to deliver skill-based training in computer usage, music, DTP operation, and manufacturing trades like chalk and candle making.

Rehabilitation: We have the capability to undertake the crucial task of family tracing, restoration to relatives, and transferring young adults (over 18 years) to Government Aftercare Homes for continued rehabilitation and education.

Specialized Projects: We have successfully initiated and run large projects through external support, such as setting up a separate Music Department and launching various medical and health check-up camps.

🤝 Strategic Capabilities

Veteran Leadership: The institution is governed by a management committee composed of about 20 eminent members from various fields, including those with doctorates in subjects like Juvenile Delinquency, ensuring expert guidance.

Community Mobilization: We have a proven track record of securing substantial support from large industrial houses, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives (e.g., Sterlite Technologies, Hindustan Petroleum), and philanthropists to fund infrastructural and developmental needs.

Legal Advocacy: We have the capability to coordinate and host special Lok Adalats (People's Courts) in collaboration with the District Sessions Court and JJB to swiftly resolve pending cases concerning children.

We are constantly working to expand our capabilities in alignment with our future plans, which include establishing advanced technical training centers and constructing a new, comprehensive facility.
